Literary Translation
LEARNING OUTCOMES
This integrative curricular microcredential enables students to develop a theoretical and practical understanding of the processes of literary translation alongside cross-cultural competencies.
Through the micro credential’s core components, students will develop an understanding of the conceptual and practical decisions literary translators make; develop and deploy core craft skills in creative writing as part of a literary translation project; and develop skills working across languages.
Current Geneseo students can begin any microcredential by taking the course and contacting the chair or the coordinator listed.
